About GulfGenAI

Powering AI from the Gulf of America

GulfGenAI provides large-scale GPU compute capacity for training and inference, delivered through a simulation-first control plane and backed by dedicated energy infrastructure.

What We Do

We design and manage AI data centers that don't touch the grid.

Using a patent-pending approach, GulfGenAI stations modified jack-up drilling rigs — we call them GenPods — on the shallow shelf of the Gulf of America. Each GenPod is fitted with specialized data centers, powered by off-grid natural gas from untapped reservoirs containing decades' worth of energy.

These reservoirs can be converted into onsite electricity to power AI production without stressing the US grid, draining freshwater, or impacting any community.

GGAI is backed and supported by Enterprise Offshore Drilling, the largest provider of oil and gas exploration and drilling in the Gulf of America.
Our Mission

We help companies take their AI off grid.

To create an untapped, clean, abundant source of off-grid energy that will support US-based AI compute needs without further burdening the United States' grid, water resources, and consumers.

How It Works

Infrastructure that gives more than it takes.

Every land-based data center strains the grid, drains freshwater, and fights its neighbors for permits. We built something different.

No Grid Stress

Powered by energy that would otherwise go to waste.

Stranded natural gas reserves in the Gulf of America sit untapped — too small for traditional production, too far from pipelines. GulfGenAI converts that wasted energy into electricity on-site, keeping every watt off the consumer grid.

Zero load on the public power grid
Stranded gas converted to compute — energy that was going nowhere
No competition with homes, hospitals, or businesses for power
Water-Free Cooling

Not a single drop of freshwater.

Land-based data centers consume billions of gallons of freshwater annually for cooling. GenPods use the ocean itself — a closed-loop seawater system that returns water clean, with zero freshwater draw and zero evaporation.

Zero freshwater consumption — none, ever
No evaporation towers draining local aquifers
Seawater returns to the ocean clean — closed-loop, continuous
Zero Community Impact

No neighbors. No noise. No fights.

Data centers are being blocked in communities across the country. GenPods operate 100+ miles offshore — no one hears them, no one sees them, no one's property values are affected. Every aspect is already federally regulated.

No NIMBY conflicts — there are no neighbors
No strain on local infrastructure, schools, or services
Federally regulated — BSEE, ABS, Coast Guard, BOEM, EPA
Sustainable Scale

Infrastructure that moves, not sprawls.

Land-based data centers are permanent — once built, they consume resources for decades. GenPods are mobile. When a reservoir depletes, the platform moves to the next one. No abandoned facilities. No permanent footprint.

No permanent land use — GenPods leave no trace
Reusable infrastructure — every GenPod serves multiple sites over its lifetime
Hundreds of untapped reserves — scale without sprawl
